The Joys of Life
I LOVE what I do! Being a mom is the greatest thing in the world, but its also very tough. When it comes to sleep, I've always gotten it when Alleah was a newborn till now. But there has been times where I just wanted to pull my hair out. I absolutely love being at home with Alleah. And to be honest, I do not at all miss working where I used to work. I rather be at home with my precious little girl. Some mom's say "I love working," that will never be me... my job will always be my kids... no daycare or anything. I wont be to crazy and want to home school them or anything tho. They will go to a normal school and have friends.
Anyway, since I've wanted to stay home and Joey is just working himself to death pretty much, I thought I'd do my part and help out. I'm almost done with my one year course to become a medical transcriptionist. I will be working at home. and I will have a very flexible schedule. PERFECT job for a stay at home mom right?! :) Bonus: they make really good money :)
When I am done with my course, Joey will then quit one of his jobs and he will have the chance to go back to school. He doesn't want to be working at Chem-dry and Cash and Carry his whole life so he needs to get an education.
If you're wondering what a medical transcriptionist is... Let me tell you: They listen to voice recordings that physicians and other health professionals make and convert them into written reports. They interpret medical terminology and abbreviations in preparing patients' medical histories, discharge summaries, and other documents.
Its a lot of interesting stuff I have been learning while taking my course. Just a lot of medical terms and ect. A lot to grasp and remember all at once.
I just can't wait till I'm finished and can actually start working. I've really never been into school at all, and to have such an awesome opportunity as this one is amazing :) I really feel like life is good to the Perry's right now :)
