Alleah is such a fun baby. So much personality. She has always been alert ever since birth. Always looking around and noticing different things. Such a smiley baby too. She has smiled ever since 1 month old! Always so happy! So many people tell me how much of a smiley baby she is :)

She goes through these stages where she has to do something new. Sometimes we're like "oh thats SO cute" but we have also been like "what in the world are you doing." Either way, we love our kid.

This past 6 months to now (almost 9 months).. she has changed a ton!! She has this new thing where she opens and closes her mouth but makes a clicking noise with her tongue. So cute!! She scrunches her nose, smiles and breaths in and out really quick and loudly. I find it so adorable! She can wave bye bye now :) Say "baba" and "nana" and "dada" not yet momma :( but that will come. She climbs onto everything and just hangs there. She loves to climb all over mommy and daddy. I know I've mentioned it before since she's been able to clap since she was 6 1/2 months old, but its just so dang adorable when she does it. She used to do it with just her fists but now she full on clap with her palms. She gets so excited when she does it! Her dad taught her how to spit... She's been doing it for a few months now.. but its the funniest thing ever. Specially because she does it in church haha. Her dad also would to blow on her face and make Alleah laugh.. well now she is trying to blow. I taught her how to make noises with her mouth and hand. (you know when you go up and down over your mouth with your finger while saying ahhhhh) I dunno what its called, but Alleah can do that :) she does it with her fist haha. My dad taught Alleah to "get mad" she does two fists and then makes a mad face. Its so adorable!! She loves to dance! She wiggles and laughs... it is seriously the cutest thing!! I have notice that Alleah learns things you show her very quickly. She may of taken a little longer crawling (which is 100% okay with me) but everything else that we show her comes naturally. We show her a few times... she understands... and then does it. Alleah makes me one proud momma. She is such a quick learner.

Oh my gosh... Crawling... Can I just tell you, I am always on my feet!! That little girl goes everywhere... nothing stops her. Once she wants to get somewhere, she will make it happen to actually get there. I hope she takes awhile to walk haha.

Alleah LOVES to jump in her jumper, she even tries to jump on our laps. She just has so much fun doing it!

Alleah has quite an appetite. She loves food. Just recently I've been letting her sit at her high chair and feed herself. She has a blast. I still give her a bottle and feed her baby food. But she just loves trying new food. Today she ate tater tots and then my mom's homemade chicken noodle soup... she LOVED it!!

Its just so crazy to see how much our little girl is growing. Going through different stages and learning different things. We have so much fun with her. She is such an amazing baby!! In only 3 months Alleah will be 1.. WHAT THE HECK... right?! Goodness... I miss my little newborn! but I love watching her grow :)
I absolutely adore my little family!!

Ladybugs

1st Birthday; PARTY

I've been giving it a lot of thought about Alleah's 1st birthday party and I've decided to go with a ladybug theme. I think it would be so adorable!!

Every girl loves princesses, but she will be 1 so this is the year I get to choose what the theme is. We will do that another year :) I'm so excited to plan a party for my little munchkin, but also really sad because she'll already be 1.

I've got a few ideas in my head and have been looking up a bunch of things. *cough cough* *pinterest* And I'm really starting to LOVE the ladybug idea.

I know I have 4 months.. but thats okay. I'm just throwing out ideas and looking up things. Haven't bought anything... yet.. 

I would LOVE to hear peoples ideas for this special day for Alleah to make it super fun and cute :) Bring on the ideas!! :) 

I'm an Obsessed Mom

And I'm okay with that!!

I just can't get over my little Alleah! Everyday she just amazes me. She is such a smart little girl! She's right on tract with everything. (except weight) she's petite but that's okay. Both her parents were and still are petite. She's super long, but skinny. I bet ya she (and all our kids) will be taller than me. She comes from a family with really tall jeans. Even tho Joey is adopted, his biological father and grandpa are really big guys. And my uncles are also big guys. I'll be shocked if my kids will be short like me to be honest, but if they are that's okay :)

Anyway, Just recently I've been looking at a bunch of old pictures and in just aw of how fast Alleah is growing up. It makes me sad, but its also very exciting. Alleah got weighed, she is now 15lbs 7oz... only 12th percentile.. but it has improved. She was the 4th percentile at 6 months old. 

Last blog I wrote was a little bit ago and I mentioned Alleah was still getting the hang of crawling and sometimes just preferred to roll because everytime she went to crawl she'd fall or it would just be to hard. But now... she is crawling EVERYWHERE. no joke. I can't take my eye off of her for one second or she will be into something. She has this obsession of crawling to our cat. Which to be quite honest... I'm amazed that Dobby (our cat) hasn't scratched her or anything. Alleah loves to pull his hair and smack him. I think he just knows something bad will happy (from me) if he tries anything. Another obsession of Alleah's, is crawling to Joey's Xbox. She can even turn it on and open the disk part. I find it funny. Specially because she has turned it off on him while hes playing :) That's my girl!! :)

Its hilarious when I leave a room for like a second... there's Alleah trying to follow me. I've just now noticed, she never rolls anymore :( It was always so dang cute when she would. But I guess that stage is over with and now onto the new one :( 

Just yesterday Alleah pulled herself up on the furniture. She has been trying it for awhile now, but only gets to her knees and gives up. Of course the first piece of furniture that Alleah pulled herself up on was the TV stand.. right after messing with the Xbox haha

Now Alleah is eating our kind of food. Of course in tiny pieces, but she really enjoys it. She will just sit at her highchair feeding herself (or making a mess) she has a blast! 

My baby girl is growing up way to quickly! In just 4 months she will be one years old :( Where the heck did the time go?! Which by the way... her party is going to be adorable!! 

Treasure every single moment.. before you know it... it will be to late!!
