11 months old :)
Alleah is a lot of fun. She has hit a few milestones this month. Her main ones are that she can stand up by herself and she can take a couple steps. She started by letting go of tables, her toy box, chairs... ect and just stands there. Now she can stand up all by herself. She seems like she wants to walk, but doesn't quite know how. She takes 2 steps and then falls down to crawling position. Guess crawling is easier. I personally have different opinions of her walking; 1. I will be sad because she is growing up and that's the next step. 2. Crawling is icky; hands always on the floor. When she starts full on walking I will be super excited & sad at the same time. I miss my little newborn, but I absolutely love watching her grow into the little kid she is. She is just so fun to be around and play with. Right now we are living with her grandparents (my parents) and she is just loving it. All the attention. :) She loves Grandma & Grandpa.
She loves walking with her walker or any other thing that will slide on the floor with her while she walks. Just can't quite do it all by herself yet, but she will get there. She's also walking along furniture, but she has been doing that for a few months now.
A few things about Alleah:
- is still wearing 9 month clothes. The pants are starting to get a little short.
- loves to taste anything and everything! If she can get to it and pick it up, it's going in her mouth.
- has 5 teeth. She loves eating all people food (except pickles) She has no trouble chewing all food.
- Loves to yell but also loves to just babble. Says dada, baba, nana ALL the time! Only says mama when she's crying, She sometimes says it without crying
- Getting cute blonde hair. Its thin, but you can see it. The back of her head is starting to get fuzzy. My aunt used to call me "fuzzy duck" looks like she will be called that too haha
- loves going to the park! Lately the weather is soooo warm. We just went to the park today with a couple of her friends
- Alleah loves play dates with her friends Kimber, Kennedy, Keily & Marshal
- Alleah LOVES her sleep. 12 hours at night & 2 naps during the day that last up to 1-3 hrs.
- Lately she doesn't like me feeding her. She wants to feed herself. Its rare when she will let me feed her baby food. She prefers people food. Taste better I guess
- She will NOT eat any baby food veggies. The only way she will eat veggies is if they're real veggies & she can feed it to herself
We love our little Monkey. 11 month pictures will be taken later today :)
