I've been giving it a lot of thought about Alleah's 1st birthday party and I've decided to go with a ladybug theme. I think it would be so adorable!!
Every girl loves princesses, but she will be 1 so this is the year I get to choose what the theme is. We will do that another year :) I'm so excited to plan a party for my little munchkin, but also really sad because she'll already be 1.
I've got a few ideas in my head and have been looking up a bunch of things. *cough cough* *pinterest* And I'm really starting to LOVE the ladybug idea.

Ladybugs is cute! Yeah with a first birthday it's totally up to you so do whatever the heck you want. I think even just having a fun color scheme for a first birthday is good, since they don't care about characters or themes. Or a pattern. Like I kinda love the idea of having a polka dot first birthday party... I really thought about doing that for Pearl but I'm not so feel free to use that idea. :) Or you could even just do like a zebra print theme or something. Party planning is the funnest.
ReplyDeleteYa, I was kinda thinking something small and simple. Since I'm so new at this, what did you do for morgans first birthday? any games or anything or was it just a chill day? my mom was saying to not go over board with stuff since she'll only be 1 and wont exactly know whats going on. haha
DeleteYeah we kept Morgan's first one super chill. We didn't really play any games, just chilled, watched Morgan (sorta) eat the cake, ate treats, mingled, did presents. Yeah all the decorations and whatnot are totally all for you.. I did a little rainbow color scheme for Morgan's first.
